HOT LAVA!

Those who know me, know of my obession with all things Hawaiian. Here is an interesting site that I visit at least once a week to see what is happening with the CURRENT ERUPTION. of Kilauea. It is so amazing to watch the transformation.

Here is an image of the East Lae`apuki lava delta on November 1, 2005.

Here it is after it broke off and fell into the ocean on December 2, 2005.

And here it is on July 14, 2006. Amazing that it has come to about it's original size in 6 months. It is now 60 acres!

I've seen bigger eruptions, if you know what I mean. And I think you do. Elvis's best movies were the ones where he was in HI.
